FAQ
JEWELRY CARE
To clean your permanent jewelry, simply wash with warm water and mild hand/dish soap or in the shower. This will help to remove any dirt and oils that might have built up on your jewelry. If you are a very acidic PH, you may experience tarnishing of your .925 sterling silver. To alleviate this, wash frequently or polish with the jewelry cloth we have provided.
CAN I WEAR IT AT THE AIRPORT
Yes! You can wear your permanent jewelry through TSA security without any issues.
MRI/SURGERIES
We recommend you consult with your doctor to see if you should remove the jewelry. If your doctor requires you to remove your permanent jewelry, simply cut the jump ring, not the chain. You can always bring your piece back in and we can cut it off for you and can re-weld it back on for a $10 charge.
REPAIRS
Before you leave your appointment our specialist goes through a 3-step process of checking the chain for breakage, stretching, confirming size (once cut it's yours), and ensuring that the weld is secure. We ask that you be gentle with your permanent jewelry! Just because our pieces are designed to last, it does not mean they're unbreakable. Treat your jewelry with love.
If your chain breaks, we can repair it for a small fee of $10, provided the chain is salvageable (to be determined by a specialist). If your chain needs to be made smaller, the fee is $15. If you need the chain made bigger, you must purchase another chain. This is why we confirm sizing because a chain that has been cut cannot be made bigger. If you need to remove your permanent jewelry, you're welcome to bring it into our store to cut it off for free or you can cut it off on your own at the jump ring, with a wire cutter or even scissors!
